The Presentation of Our Lord depicts Mary presenting Jesus at the temple. In the top panels three angels are depicted watching over the presentation. Mary is resplendent in a highly decorative blue cloak, gown and headdress. She holds up the small figure of Jesus, who is attired in a long white robe, to the High Priest of the temple. Joseph kneels before the High priest attired in blue and green robes and a maroon sash. In the lower panel a crown, a whip, a rack and a sword are depicted to represent Mary’s emblem of Queen of Martyrs.
The Family of Our lady depicts Mary on Pentecost when the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in many tongues. In the main panel Mary is seated with an open book on her lap. Three apostles are portrayed behind Mary. The lower panel depicts a golden throne that radiates light and may denote Mary’s Seat of Wisdom.
