The first light shows the presentation of Jesus at the temple. The high priest, attired in blue robes and a brown cloak, is depicted holding the infant, Jesus.  Mary is portrayed in a pink headdress, and ornate turquoise and deep blue robes trimmed with gold. The lower panel portrays the meeting of Joachim and Anna, Mary’s parents, at the golden gate.

The second light depicts Mary as having been immaculately conceived without original sin. The lower panel depicts the betrothal of Mary and Joseph. The couple make their vows in front of the high priest and two angels.
