Saint Ceara is reputed to have been born into royalty in the seventh century in County Tipperary. In the first light, Saint Ceara is depicted wearing a crimson cloak with a jewelled broach and collar. She holds a monastery in her hands. The lower panel shows Saint Ceara in a white cloak decorated with golden flowers accompanied by a group of nuns.
The second light depicts Saint Ceara wearing a white robe and headdress. Blossoms are depicted falling across her gown and resting beneath her feet. The lower panel depicts Saint Ceara in a white habit decorated with floral designs, praying in the monastery garden at night time.
