The Honan Chapel, Cork city- Harry Clarke (1889 to 1931) was undoubtedly Ireland’s greatest stained glass artist. Internationally the name of Harry Clarke is synonymous with quality craftsmanship and imaginative genius in his stained glass work.

Saint Ita (1916) is known as the Brigid of Munster. The Waterford saint is dressed in royal blue. White glass is used to accentuate her head and headdress. Small figures of saints are depicted beside her. Designs in red and gold also surrounded her.
