Pettigo, Lough Derg- Basilica of St. Patrick’s Purgatory- Harry Clarke (1889 to 1931) was undoubtedly Ireland’s greatest stained glass artist. Internationally the name of Harry Clarke is synonymous with quality craftsmanship and imaginative genius in his stained glass work.

Click Here for Stations of the Cross in Lough DergJames, son of Alphaeus, holds the tenth station (Duffy: 2002). The inner medallion shows Jesus stripped of his robes. The soldiers look on greedily, while one woman kneels at Jesus’ feet.
