Narrative:

The poet and his lover are depicted in a garden. The lady is reading a long tapering scroll that is inscribed: This and the following stained glass panels illustrating Queens by J.M Synge executed by Harry Clarke for the Rt. Honourable Lawrence A. Waldron Sept. 1917.
